A photographic workshop with Ollie in Slovenia
Ollie Taylor, a renowned photographer and author of some excellent photos of our cottages, will conduct a workshop of landscape and night photography in Slovenia from 24 to 30 October 2019.
The workshop will be held in several places in Slovenia, including on Velika planina, where participants of the workshop will sleep in our fairytale cottages. The workshop (it will be held in English) is an exceptional opportunity for everyone who loves landscape and night photography and our beloved Slovenia, which has become a real magnet for excellent photographers and travelers.
Breathtaking photos
“This Slovenia landscape photography workshop offers breathtaking autumnal landscapes set amongst clear water rivers, misty hills with mountain backdrops, high mountain passes, picture postcard villages and churches, and, the chance to shoot astrophotography overlooking mountain peaks whilst perched above them,” says Ollie Taylor, a renowned British photographer, who will take the participants of his workshop to the Julian Alps, the Soča Valley and the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. One of the stops will also be on Velika planina.

Five photographers of all levels can participate in the workshop which will focus on the landscape and night photography under Ollie’s mentoring.
Although there is a target location list, as with all Ollie’s workshops they are not structured to a robotic itinerary, instead, he uses his knowledge of the area, and over 15 years landscape photography experience to try and guide the group to the best locations each day in light of forecast conditions, and which location would be best suited to them.
